I have been to Dresden, Germany for the ISO meeting as a Korean representative. Dresden is the capital city of the German Federal Free State of Saxony. The meeting was held at the Technical University of Dresden.

Whenever I attend this meeting, I feel difficulity with conversation in English. There are various people from different countries and I used to suffer from unfamiliar pronunciations and accents. As a person who speaks only Korean American-English intermediately :), a continuous meeting for a whole day in a small room is a very challengeable thing. I need to improve my English. :) Not to lose prestige of my country I usually concentrate all my attention on the meeting and it often makes me tired. I am not sure that I am doing well. But I hope I just contribute to development of international guidelines for many people in the world. The next meeting will be held in Korea and I will be the host of the meeting. And although it is not a great thing, I am very honored to be an editor of an international standard. Above all, the meeting allows me to get acquainted with global leaders in my research field.

This beautiful building is the Fraeunkirche which means Church of Our Lady(Mary). It is one of the most inspired works of European architecture and the most important Protestant church built in Germany. Since the weather was cold and rainy, it was hard to take a nice photo. There are an old forest and a Catholic church around it.

This is a self-photo at the Frankfrut airport. I shoud to something for hair. I have never had such a long hair in my life and I have no idea for haircut in the States. 4 years ago, I had a haircut at a barbershop in the student center. It was a shock. The barber made me like a chinese boy. So, the haircut is also a small reason why I am looking forward to visiting Korea. :)
